LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are used to make energy-efficient  lighting solutions that save energy, reduce maintenance costs, shine brighter, last longer and reduce environmental impact. By comparison, LED Lighting solutions can provide up to 90% energy savings vs. incandescent light sources, while lasting up to 50 times longer.

What is RoHS Compliance?

Regulatory authorities introduced new ways to reduce the environmental impact and potential hazard of wastes from electrical equipment. The European directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) holds electrical and electronic equipment companies directly responsible for the chemical compliance of their products. This means all products have to conform to strict standards, extensive compliance documentation and ensure that electrical and electronic products sold in the EU don’t contain lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) above the legal threshold.

What is CE Compliance?

CE – European Union EMC & Safety Compliance Declaration

It is mandatory for many products to get the CE certification to operate in the European market. If a product is CE certified, it means that it satisfies all the norms of European health, safety and environmental directives laid by the relevant legislation. CE – The European Conformity (CE) marking is affixed to products with input of 50 – 1,000 Vac or 75 – 1,500 Vdc and/or for products which may cause or be affected by electromagnetic disturbance. The CE marking symbolizes conformity of the product with the applicable Community requirements. CE is the manufacturer or suppliers’ self-declaration allowing products to circulate freely within the Community.
