Changing Times in the Semiconductor Industry
Semiconductor technologies have been changing rapidly over the years, the data density of wafers increasing each year. In 1965 Gordon Moore (co-founder of Intel) predicted that the number of transistors per wafer would double every 18 months (known as Moore's Law). This prediction is holding true. This complexity infiltrates throughout every aspect of the Semiconductor sector. As die get smaller so too must the Assembly, Probe and Test technologies associated with processing these die. The PCB requirements for the Semiconductor industry have changed also. PCB's have become more complex, contactor footprints have become smaller and Test technologies have become much more advanced. Litho Circuits have moved with the times. Our Layout engineers have been collaborating with Probe and Test engineers from the Semiconductor sector for over 20 years. We know what their requirements are and we deliver to them a full turn-key solution. We understand the pressures and the timelines associated with working with the Bio-Medical and Automotive industries. We treat your customers as our customer. Explore our semiconductor website and contact us with any queries you have.
